Victor Valley's Special Technology Seminar
On October 18th the Victor Valley Chapter of the REAA hosted
a special event to expose and keep our appraisal group abreast
of current and cutting edge "appraiser assisted"
technology.
We were honored to have Executive Vice Presidents Mr. James
Regnere and Mr. Mark Linne from Bradford Technologies "Appraisal
World" present their latest innovative software to our
group. The software; "Comp Cruncher" and their Collateral
Valuation Report (CVR) is indeed innovative technology, "Comp
Cruncher" is used in assisting the appraiser in identifying
market segments for use in "paired data analysis"
and their CVR report is a new "appraiser assisted"
and more thorough valuation tool that major lending institutions
are adopting in lieu of BPO's and AVM's.
The Victor Valley Chapter used this opportunity as an informational
and fact gathering seminar; to understand and evaluate the
technology behind this software and to explore the feasibility
of its use. We invited appraisers to this seminar from different
appraisal disciplines, who discussed this topic and provided
feedback in the form of Q&A to the presenters. We learned
a lot through our discussion and it was indeed a very interesting
and informative evening.
