REAA Victor Valley Chapter 2010 Board of Directors

On March 3rd, the Victor Valley Appraisers Association
sponsored a dynamic evening at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Victorville
as they celebrated their affiliation as a chapter of the REAA and
to kick off their 1st annual membership drive. This information
packed evening caught the interest of over 40 appraisers who attended
to hear nationally known appraiser and lecturer Ann O'Rourke speak
about the "Future of Appraising".
The evening began with opening presentations and introductions
by Daryl Johnson, President of the Victor Valley Chapter followed
by a presentation from Vicki Keeler, founder and past president
of the REAA speaking on the advantages of becoming a member of the
Victor Valley Chapter of the REAA. Attendees enjoyed a great dinner
with time to network and exchange business cards with colleagues.
Following dinner our featured speaker of the evening, Ann O'Rourke
took the podium and gave a suburb presentation on the "Future
of Appraising" as well as offering some great ideas on diversifying
one's business. The evening was a huge success and all attendees
received 2 continuing education credits and a wealth of knowledge
and security about the future of our industry.
